This is a Gruul stompy deck built around Ruric Thar's brutal tax: every noncreature spell — yours or your opponents' — deals 6 damage to its caster, so the deck runs almost entirely creatures and lands to stay above the fray while punishing everyone else's interaction. Ramp fast with mana dorks and Treasure-makers, cheat out huge threats with cost reducers like Goreclaw, then overrun the table with anthem and trample effects. A dedicated punisher package (Scytheclaw Raptor, Magebane Lizard, Vexing Shusher, Dragonborn Champion) turns opposing spells into free damage and draws, while Craterhoof Behemoth, Xenagos, and Kiki-Jiki close games explosively.
